Paula is the founder of The CSR Group LLC (www.thecsrgroup.com) – communications and consulting firm specializing in Corporate Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and CSR Communications. Her work at The CSR Group LLC includes working with Fortune 500 companies on CSR strategy, Stakeholder Engagement, Sustainability Reporting, CSR Communications. Clients have included Dell, Brown Forman, The Coca Cola Africa Foundation, Devon Energy, The McGraw Hill Companies, AMD and others.

She is a member of the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin where she teaches a course in the McCombs School of Business on Global Issues in CSR, and a course on Integrated Communication for Non-profits in the Communications School. She was recently asked to join the academic advisory network for the UN Global Compact. She was an official delegate to the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa, August-September 2002. She is a frequent speaker and consulted expert on CSR. Paula was the Director of Corporate Ethics with Compaq Computer Corporation. She came to Compaq from Holt Consulting Services, Inc., a values-based leadership and ethics consulting firm, where she was a Senior Consultant.

  • US based consultant for the World Congress on Information Technology in Australia, 2002.
  • Represented at World Bank conference on CSR and Public Policy.

Additional Professional Experience

Paula's experience includes working as the U.S. marketing consultant to the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2002, held in Adelaide Australia. She was also the Director of Marketing at numerous companies and taught a course on Entrepreneurship for Women for four years Paula worked with the National Women's Political Caucus in Washington, D.C., planning the first Women's Inaugural Ball honoring women in politics. She has worked on a consulting basis in marketing and business development for Access International Consultants and served on the Host Committee for the Asian Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) in Seattle. She worked for Tenneco Inc. in International Development. She worked as a geologist in the oil and gas and mining industries in the Australian Outback for three years.

Education

Paula holds a Master's degree in International Business (MBA) from Thunderbird (The American Graduate School of International Management) and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed a Managing Ethics in Organizations course at Bentley College. She is a graduate of the 1997 class of Leadership Texas. Paula is proficient in Spanish and French, and has US and Australian residency.
